(Review) LA-JUG Meeting July 2006
This month Jim White, a regular attendant of the LA JUG, gave a presentation about his project the Internet Foundation Classes eXtreme. Because I am a critic of the putting everything on the web approach I am also critical about his project. His presentation was great when Jim introduced us to the past of Software development and that there were only a few really new inventions in the past 50 years. In my view software engineering is most a repackaging business rather than a fertile ground for innovations. Eve keep on reading here
