Mythtv: the Hard Drive Eater

I started using MythTV with a 170GB partition on my 200GB hard drive. A while after the disk was full and I was forced to go and by a bigger (500GB) hard drive because I have some shows recorded I want to keep. After switching MythTV to the new drive I felt bad because I had a good partition that I could not use anymore and 170GB could still store around 80 hours of TV. Then I remembered that I always wondered what LVM meant on the SuSE configuration tool YAST. I remembered that it is called large volumn management and I thought that this could mean that I could create a logi  keep on reading here
