Andreas Schaefer worked as a core developer on JBoss from 2000 until 2002 on various components, managed and wrote several chapters on the JBoss 3 startup guide and wrote several articles about JBoss.
From 2001 he was working as a consultant for the JBoss Group and now for Madplanet.com Inc.  with customers like Gateway Inc. in Irvine, CA, ABB and now AGMednet in Boston, MA. Between 2002 and 2005 he was the project lead and architect for the SeeBeyond Technology Corp. (now owned by Sun Microsystem) own application server development which passed the J2EE 1.3 certification in 2004.

• In-house consulting for at least 5 business days: $200 / hour (travel and accommodation no included)
• Remote consulting for at least 5 business days: $150 / hour
  
• Remote consulting in packages of 20 business days: $135 / hour
  
• Remote consulting in prepaid packages of 20 business days: $120 / hour
